oops...and learning...

If you have been here lately and now feel like something is missing, you are very observant. By request of Nichole's Classes I have removed content from my blog that illustrates some of what I have been learning in her "table top photography" class.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me, but it didn't, that sharing class material would be undermining their ability to continue to offer the class in exchange for money.

In all honesty I didn't feel I was revealing much detail and was really only offering up an appetizer for other's who'd not heard of her classes. There is much to be learned from Nichole, and even if you did see my earlier posts, they really only skimmed the surface of what she has to teach. I highly recommend the experience of not only being instructed by very good photographer, but also having specific critiques given for your photographs, and having at least two live chat session in which to pick Nichole's brain about all things photography. It has been a great experience for me personally (I plan to take more of her online classes) and one that could never be replicated by a few words in a blog post.

So, I apologize to "Nichole's Classes" for my error in judgement and continue to learn to be a better blogger from here on out.

Live and learn - as the saying goes! Thank you for sharing that experience - especially if it was uncomfortable. Now I know more than I did a minute ago. That just had not occurred to me either.

Thank you so much Sarah. It was uncomfortable. I felt really embarrassed when I got the email from them, though they were very kind and polite in their wording. It was a case of instant "breaking the rules anxiety" for me. Then I told myself that it was an honest mistake and easily mended, thankfully. And sharing it only helps me to own up to the mistake and hopefully share the lesson learned. Your words are a comfort tho, and I appreciate them much!!

Rachel.
