lessons learned ~



1. I am not a baker!

2. Cake mix can go bad, as the baking soda will expire and the cake will not rise.

3. They tell you to let the cake cool before putting frosting on for a reason.

Awesome I love that I am not the only one this has happened to. By the way I've heard that expired/old batter, be it pancake or cakes, can contain moldy spores that are dangerous to consume.

oh nice. I not only massacred K's birthday cake, I may have endangered his life. Okay, a little melodramatic... but everyone needs a hobby. =0)
